What happens when I work with you?Once we decide to work together, I will send you a daily sleep and activity log for you to complete. This will give me the information that I need to be able to build your sleep plan. I will then book a 1 hour video consultation with you to talk through your sleep logs in detail and make sure I have a full understanding of what your challenges are and what you'd like to achieve while we're working together. You can also talk to me about how you're feeling about working together and any worries that you have so that I can make sure you're supported in the right way going forward. Depending on the package you book, I will then be available for three weeks on WhatsApp, as often as you need me, to answer any questions you have and continue to adjust your package as your little one starts to respond to the sleep support.

What methods do you use?I use a tailor-made method to suit the particular needs and temperament of your child. This is specific to Little Bunnies, but draws on the best elements from several established sleep techniques. The methods that I use are at the more gentle end of the sleep training spectrum and I never advocate leaving your baby alone to cry for long periods. For most of the time you will be in the room with them, supporting them to fall asleep. Over time, as your baby's skills and confidence grow, you'll find you're able to give them more space to fall asleep without your help, but this is a very gradual process. If you're looking for quick results, then this might not be right for you. However, if you're looking for something that is gradual, but sustainable, and delivers lasting results, then you've come to the right place.

Will my child cry?Babies and young toddlers have limited means to communicate with you and they generally don't like change. It's therefore likely that at some point during the sleep support programme your baby will cry. This is usually because they are frustrated that you're no longer doing what you were doing before to settle them. It's important that we allow them that outlet to be frustrated with the change and to learn new techniques. However, that doesn't mean that your baby will be left alone to cry. My methods are designed to closely support your little one through these changes to help them gently learn to settle more independently.

Will you get my newborn sleeping through the night? No, probably not. I don't advocate pushing newborns to sleep through the night until they show signs that they're ready to reduce their feeds. Newborns need to feed very often in those first few months and they benefit from lots of physical contact with you too. What I will do is teach you gentle techniques to encourage your baby to be more comfortable in their own sleep space. I'll also explain how to manage their sleep during the day so that you can have calmer evenings and a more settled baby.

Do you work with twins and siblings?Yes, absolutely. When you book your free intro call we can discuss your precise requirements. Most of the time there is no additional charge for working with twins as they'll be on similar sleep schedules. For siblings of different ages there will be an additional cost associated with developing two separate but complementary sleep plans for you, but this will still be far cheaper than buying two separate sleep packages.

I'm really nervous about starting a sleep programme. What if I'm not ready? You're not alone. About 80% of my clients start out feeling nervous about working with a sleep consultant. They're worried about their baby crying, about how tired they already feel, about what I'm going to ask them to do. However, after we've had our consultation and agreed the gradual steps that we'll take to help their baby, the vast majority are energised and excited to get started. Yes, making changes can be tough, especially when it comes to your precious bundle of joy. But, you're making those changes to benefit their health and yours. There's no rush though. If you're not quite ready for things to change then take a pause and come back for another chat when the time is right.

What if it doesn't work? All children are individuals and respond differently to change, however, if you work through the programme and maintain consistency then it's extremely likely that you'll see positive results within a week or two. If you've taken my WhatsApp support package I will also be there to guide you through each step, listen to how your child is responding and make small adaptations if needed throughout the support package. Check out my reviews to see how other families have benefitted from working with me and what they thought of the process.

How long will it take to see results? My methods are designed to be gentle and to gradually support your child to make changes in their sleep, rather than forcing them to make drastic change in just a few nights. Despite this gentle nature, most families begin to see improvements within the first week of the programme, with sustainable changes achieved within two to three weeks. Because my support packages are holistic, looking at daytime activity, mealtimes, wake windows, environment and sleep support methods, some clients even find that their children are sleeping through the night after just one day of working together, because they're able to put in place the precise conditions that their child needed in order to enable them to happily sleep without additional support.
